I am very excited to announce that I have partnered with a wonderful travel company, Morocco Ecoway, to bring you a 9-day travel sketching workshop in Morocco in 2022<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n The workshop will focus on the art of travel sketching in ink and watercolour<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We will cover what to look for in a scene, how to identify what interests you, how to get your sketch started, composition, designing a sketchbook spread, travel journaling, working with ink, applying watercolour, how to sketch loosely, creating texture and adding some dynamic touches such as watercolour splatters or final highlights with a white gel pen and the list goes on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to give you all the tools and techniques to make you confident at sketching on the move wherever you and whatever the weather. I want to help you focus on the joy of travel sketching itself and capturing your memories rather than being so tied to the outcome. <\/p>\n\n\n The workshop is 9 days starting on 21st March 2022 and ending on 29th March 2022<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n The workshops starts and ends in Marrakech, Morocco. As well as exploring the Red City itself, within the 9 days we will travel to many other parts of the country, including the High Atlas mountains, the Hollywood of Africa (Ait-Ben HAddou), the oasis of Skouru as well as ride camels through the Sahara to watch the sun set in the desert dunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All this as well as over 40 hours of sketching tuition from yours truly!!<\/p>\n\n\n Pretty much everything is included! Transfers from the airport, all ground transport, an English-speaking fully licensed guide, all accommodation, all food, experiences such as the camel rides, a botanical lesson, cocktail henna party etc, all entrance fees to monuments, me(!) and 40 hours of art tuition from me, the list goes on!<\/p>\n\n\n\n The only things not included<\/strong> are your art materials, your flights to and from Morocco and any additional purchases on the trip such as souvenirs, magic carpets etc….<\/p>\n\n\n The trip is \u20ac3000 euros in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To reserve your place, you need to pay a \u20ac500 euro deposit to me and a deposit to Morocco Ecoway, the balance can be paid at the time of the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This will be the best sketchy adventure yet, a trip of a lifetime…and I really hope you guys can join me! <\/p>\n\n\n\nSketchy Adventures in Morocco<\/h2>\n\n\n
